POWERFUL INSIGHT VENTURES LLC is committed to delivering reliable forensic weather documentation. This refund policy outlines the specific circumstances under which refunds are provided.

Automatic Refund Cases

1. Non-Delivery / Technical Failure

If your payment is successfully processed but the forensic weather report PDF cannot be generated or delivered due to technical failure, you are entitled to a full refund. This includes:

  • API failure preventing report generation
  • Weather station resolution failure after payment
  • Download or delivery system errors
  • PDF generation failure

2. Insufficient Station Coverage

If no qualifying NOAA GHCN-Daily weather station has adequate baseline data for your project location and time window, your purchase will be automatically refunded. Specifically:

  • No qualifying station has ≥5 years of baseline data (out of 10 same-calendar-window years required for statistical analysis)
  • Station data quality fails our fail-closed verification standards

We do not deliver placeholder or incomplete reports. If we cannot produce a forensic-quality analysis with sufficient historical baseline data, we refund your purchase in full rather than shipping a report that would not meet documentation standards.

How to Request a Refund

If you experience a technical delivery failure or believe your purchase qualifies for a refund:

  1. Email matan@verofin.org
  2. Include your Stripe receipt or session ID
  3. Describe the issue (e.g., "payment succeeded but no PDF received")

Processing Timeline

Refund requests are typically verified and processed within a few business days. Stripe processes the refund to your original payment method once approved.

What Is Not Covered

This refund policy applies only to the technical delivery failures and data coverage limitations described above. Refunds are not provided for:

  • Change of mind after successful delivery
  • Reports that do not support your specific claim outcome (our product documents weather conditions, not claim approval)
  • Disputes over weather data interpretation (we use NOAA data and standard statistical methods)
  • Preference for different weather stations or date windows after delivery

The forensic report shows weather days versus dates only—it is not a determination that a claim will be approved or denied.
