Refund Policy

POWERFUL INSIGHT VENTURES LLC is committed to delivering reliable weather documentation. This refund policy outlines the specific circumstances under which refunds are provided.

Eligible Refund Cases

Refunds are handled by emailing support@verofin.co with the email address you used at checkout.

1. Non-Delivery / Technical Failure

If your payment is successfully processed but the weather report PDF cannot be generated or delivered due to technical failure, email support@verofin.co with the email address you used at checkout. A full refund applies to:

  • API failure preventing report generation
  • Weather station resolution failure after payment
  • Download or delivery system errors
  • PDF generation failure

2. Insufficient Station Coverage

If no qualifying NOAA GHCN-Daily weather station has adequate baseline data for your project location and time window, email support@verofin.co with the email address you used at checkout. Eligible coverage limits:

  • No qualifying station has enough baseline data. The report uses the same-calendar-window years with enough data, up to the 10 prior years (minimum 5).
  • Station data quality fails our fail-closed data checks

We do not deliver placeholder or incomplete reports. If we cannot produce the analysis because the historical baseline is too thin, we refund your purchase in full rather than delivering that incomplete file.

How to Request a Refund

If you experience a technical delivery failure or want to ask about a refund under this policy:

  1. Email support@verofin.co
  2. Include the email address you used at checkout
  3. Describe the issue (e.g., "payment succeeded but no PDF received")

Processing Timeline

Refund requests are typically verified and processed within a few business days. Stripe processes the refund to your original payment method once approved.

What Is Not Covered

This refund policy applies only to the technical delivery failures and data coverage limitations described above. Refunds are not provided for:

  • Change of mind after successful delivery
  • Reports that do not support your specific claim outcome (our product documents weather conditions, not claim approval)
  • Disagreement about how to read the weather numbers (the PDF uses NOAA observations and mean + 1 standard deviation)
  • Preference for different weather stations or date windows after delivery

This service does not provide legal advice and does not guarantee any claim approval. Our product documents observed weather conditions and compares them to historical baselines using NOAA data. The NOAA station data report shows weather days versus dates only—it is not a determination that a claim will be approved or denied.
